It is our pleasure to announce that in 2026 TEI Region 8 Annual Conference will be held at The Westin Hilton Head Resort June 10 - 14, 2026. The Westin has provided us with an exceptional rate ($389/$414/476 for Island/Resort/Ocean View Room (King or 2 Queen bed) no additional fee for second person or children under 18, $30 Daily Resort fee which covers internet, overnight self-parking, daily Instructor led Wellness Classes for 2 guests and 2 hour boogie board rentals for 2 guests at a family friendly, beach accessible location.

The conference will once again follow the familiar pattern of an opening reception on Wednesday evening, technical sessions beginning on Thursday at 10:30 am and on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 am. An audit roundtable discussion may be held on Sunday at 9:00 am depending on interest. There will be a golf tournament on Friday at 1:30 and there will also be receptions/dinners during the conference.

The technical sessions will qualify for about 20 hours of NASBA qualified CPE and CLE for certain states and will include timely topics presented by nationally recognized subject matter experts.

Family Friendly Event

Conference learning sessions/breaks/receptions/dinners are open only to registered TEI Attendees but you can purchase tickets to certain events for family members, friends or children. The tickets for additional adults can be purchased for $75/per person to attend the Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday receptions/dinners and Thursday breakfast.

Tickets for children under 18 YO can be purchased for $50/per person to attend the Wednesday reception, Thursday breakfast and Saturday dinner.

NOTE: All Breaks and Lunches, and Friday & Saturday breakfasts ARE NOT open to Spouse/Adults/children.

EARLY BIRD (EB) DISCOUNT:

• If you are a TEI member, the conference fee is $325 Conference (EB $300)
• If you are not a TEI member, the conference fee is $400 (EB $375)
• Conference attendees who register before 4/1/2026 receive a $25 EB discount.

Who Should Attend?

Tax professionals at Mid Management Level (at least 3 years of Industry experience) and Directors. Sessions are either an Overview of a topic, appropriate for all levels of experience in tax, or Updates which are a general review of new developments generally necessary for tax professionals in that discipline to stay current.
