Description
The session will provide an overview of recent federal policy proposals that could impact retirement plan and compensation and benefits taxation. In addition, we will survey the myriad of federal income tax issues raised by the unprecedent increase in the number of employees working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
After this session, participants should be able to:
- Understand the potential impact of proposed legislative changes to retirement plan and compensation and benefit taxation
- Identify major pandemic-related fringe benefit and employment taxation issues
- Spot federal income tax issues raised by remote-working employees in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic
